Week of October 13th

Greetings eaters and planners, did you eat anything delicious this week? This week always make me sad, as it was last pick up for our local farm co op. I do love the pick up and will miss all the weekly treats and gorgeous produce.

Another week in the heart of sports season. Lots of multi seated dinners and more out to eats than we prefer.

Monday- Roast Chicken and vegetables. It was a rainy evening and I love to make this all during the cooler months. I roast bone in chicken breast, because for some reason I have hard time cooking a full chicken without drying it out or timing it correctly.

Tuesday- I was out to eat with friends at Ravello in Watertown, which was delicious. I reheated frozen chili for the rest of the family.

Wednesday- We celebrate my husband and my anniversary of meeting. I love when he makes me cheeseburgers to celebrate, just like he did the day we met.

Thursday- Erewhon kale salad dupe and pierogies.

Friday- An evening soccer game, gave us an opportunity to get take out from Nan’s kitchen, a super family favorite.

Saturday- A long day of events we stopped at Rev kitchen for a quick bite in between.

Sunday- Grilled chicken and vegetables, broccoli, and roast honeynut squash. Perfect mix for this time of year.

This next week doesn’t look any better for meals together as a family or really dinner at all. Tis the season.

What are you planning on cooking this week?
