Watching the fireworks on the 3rd of July

4th of July week!

I am the youngest of 5 kids and my family all gathers on the 4th of July. I am not exactly sure why but I love it and my kids love it! All the cousin hang out together and we all chitchat and eat delicious food. It is one of my favorite times of the year. I tried to put my phone away for most of it so I have no fun pictures.

On Sunday I dropped my kids at sleepaway camp, their favorite thing in the world. For a farewell meal I made homemade pasta with pesto.
