We stopped by the Island creek pop up and loved it

Hi, what has everyone been eating? This was our first week of our kids being at overnight camp, so we either made something amazing or didn’t really eat anything, and we loved it. What did you make this week?

Monday- chips and guacamole

Tuesday- Farm share fruit and bread. We had been out for the day and this was so good.

Cherries, blueberries, and my favorite- black raspberries!

Wednesday- premade chicken kabobs, grilled veg, and farro salad based loosely on Ina’s farro salad.

Thursday- We went to Hannah’s Brewery in Melrose and were so excited to see the Blue Ox popup,, they are one my favorites and it was delicious short rib tacos.

Friday- When the girls are at camp we try to spend one day walking thru the city of Boston, just walking and snacking. We had great weather this year and it was a delicious day. We stopped at

  1. Tatte, where I had a strawberry tea I am going to try to replicate at home.

  2. Neptune Oyster- first time here and loved it. We got in line early and it wasn’t so bad.

  3. Envoy Roof deck- for a drink and the view.

  4. Island Creek Popup- Oysters and a lobster bao

  5. Banh Mi Huong Que-

  6. black lamb- cocktails and $2 oysters

  7. Barcelona- always fabulous.

Saturday- Cod picata with leftover farro and vegetables

Sunday- We made a nice lunch cause my husband’s favorite team was in the Club world cup, we just had popcorn for dinner. I made airfried buffalo chicken thighs with a shredded carrot and celery spicy slaw.
