Tony’s Clam shack on the beach in Quincy

Hello! What delicious things have you eaten recently? I did miss last week’s menu, I was away for most of the week at a rental cottage in the upstate New York finger lakes. It was a delightful. A beautiful area with great wineries and waterfalls. We had a restful few days on the lake reading and snacking. I made my birthday cake once we were back it was a lemon raspberry cake and it was so yummy

This week, the girls were back from camp and the house feels messy and full of love. We are ususally terrible about inviting people over but this week we had a few nights with friends! What delicious things have you planned ot

Monday- Had friends over and grilled Dom’s and made Ina’s orzo salad.

Tuesday- Farm Share pick up day! I made roast shrimp and skillet street corn and ate it with chips.

Wednesday- Kids are getting back into sports so They stopped at Nan’s which is our favorite.

Thursday- Homemade Pesto and tortellini and zucchini and corn- summer perfection.

Friday- We went out to Posto, where we got pizza and pasta. I recommend ordering the bread side, then saw the fantastic four.

Saturday- An impromtu dinner out with friends at Turners, a treat in all the ways.

Sunday- Had friends over for dinner and made a big greek inspired feast. Grilled Trader Joes shwarma chicken, kofta(from whole foods), hallomi, and zucchini and peppers. Made tabbouleh and roast eggplant. I served it all family style with rice and every dipping sauce from trader Joes. I also made a halal cart style white sauce but forgot to serve it.
