The Week of October 27th
Hi Planners and eaters, what did you eat this last week. In my house this week, we had a few last games of the season and of course…Halloween!
Monday- Airfryer chicken cutlet with labneh and zhug, served with leftover lentil salad. I read somewhere that Samin Nosrat, of Salt Fat Acid Heat fame, always had labneh on hand, so I have started to use it more and it is fabulous
Tuesday- Half baked Harvest Creamy Tortellini soup, so delicious! Although I usually use Rana brand tortellini and wasn’t able to find and that was a mistake.
Wednesday- We were out all day and it was cold, so I made slow cooker pork butt with BBQ sauce, cooked all day and was ready when we got home. Served with tortillas and cheese and coleslaw.
Thursday- The kid request for the week- taco salad bowls.
Friday- We were coming home late from a last soccer game win, so we got sushi for a perfect Halloween night dinner. Scary good!
Saturday- Airfryer buffalo salmon with broccoli and salad.
Sunday- Everyone home for dinner so I made a delicious butternut squash and spicy sausage sauce for homemade pasta, I thought it was amazing, my kids liked it but did not love. I also made my favorite halloween cookies from baked by Melissa, i baked a few and froze the rest of the dough for emergency cookie needs this Fall and Winter.
What are you planning to eat this week?
